Sponsor an Animal at the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary.

Hey everyone - The animals at the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary are the centerpiece of Don't Eat Me! A Cookbook for Animal Lovers. No matter where you live in the world, you can actually take part in getting to know these animals on a personal level, and help provide for their care by sponsoring an animal at the sanctuary. You will recieve a photo of the animal, and their individual rescue story with your sponsorship! This also makes a great gift for someone else as well! To learn more, go to www.woodstocksanctuary.org

Photos of the Veggie Pride Parade!

Hey everyone - the Veggie Pride Parade was a huge success! Everyone loved our banner with the adorable farm animal cartoon characters created by Alysha Auslender. We did alot of promotion for the cookbook, and it was an all around great day! To see pictures of Don't Eat Me! at the parade, click on the link to our facebook fanpage on the right. We have a fantastic photo album that was donated by one of our biggest supporters, and good friend, Heidi Harris. Check it out! (Log in to fb to view...)

Help end the cruel force-feeding of ducks and geese for the production of foie gras!

Of all the shocking abuses inflicted upon farm animals, this one is certainly at the top of the list. Foie gras is a "delicacy" derived from shoving metal tubes down the throats of geese and ducks, and force-feeding them to the point where their livers are on the verge of exploding, having swollen up to ten times their normal size. The birds are then slaughtered and their livers are sold as an expensive "gourmet" specialty food.
The selling and purchasing of foie gras has already been banned in a dozen countries, the state of California, and the city of Chicago. This cruel product needs to be banned everywhere!
To take action, and learn how you can help end the suffering of ducks and geese in the production of foie gras, go to www.nofoiegras.org .
