About DON'T EAT ME! A Cookbook for Animal Lovers

DON'T EAT ME! is a cookbook for animal lovers.

It is also a call to arms. It is time to talk the talk AND walk the walk people, and yes, I am talking to you! If you see a contradiction between calling yourself an animal lover, and eating animals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, then you are on the right track, and this cookbook is here to get you on the train!

DON'T EAT ME! is dedicated to the amazing world of imitation meat dishes, or veggie-meat, as I call it. I know that giving up meat is hard for you, or you would have done it already. That’s why I have taken classic meat dishes from all across America, such as chicken pot pie, southern biscuits and gravy, and Philly cheese-steaks, as well as some internationally influenced creations, like beef stroganoff and Szechuan beef, and created dead-ringers for the real thing using, you guessed it, veggie-meat! It is very unlikely that you will miss meat with these recipes, because you will be able to have the TASTE of it any time you want! What a delicious way to help animals!

I hope you will take the time to explore this book, and sample some of the excellent recipes inside. I think you will see that you don’t have to miss out on anything by becoming a vegetarian, except participating in the cruel, and wasteful industry known as factory farming.

There is also a superb Dairy & Egg Free Section with some amazing recipes, and a section that will help you Veganize many of the recipes throughout the book.

A portion of the proceeds goes to the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. You can learn more about WFAS at www.woodstockfas.org.
